Truffle dogs not only hunt Truffles, they are very good at finding baby Barn Owls! Now just have to get him/her back in the nest, but makes a nice change from watering Truffle trees.

Unfortunately due to the coronavirus problem, we have been unable to plant any Truffle trees this spring. Hopefully when things return to normal we will be able to plant at the end of the year.On the plus side anyone ordering trees now will in fact be getting trees planted 2 years a go, for the same price, with less time to wait for Truffles. #Investment #Truffles #Coronavirus

Good couple of days Truffle hunting, dogs have definitely earned their keep this week. With over a kilo of Perigord Truffles . Boosting Truffles does seem to work these are from trees we treated last year.

We are offering a new service to help increase the Truffle success rate of your tree. By adding spores from only the best quality Perigord Truffles, in a specially formulated mix. This should help increase not only the quantity but the quality of your Truffles from your tree. This is quite a costly process but we are able to offer it to our customers for only £35 per tree, but it is entirely optional and we only recommend it to customers with mature trees, that is trees that are 3 years or older.This is a process we are doing with all our own privately owned trees! But due to the availability of quality Truffles, we can only offer this service...

At last finished planting all of this years trees, no resting though have to get the next field ready for spring planting and of course some Truffle hunting.
