The orchard is made up of Oak and Hazel trees that have had a summer truffle species added to their roots, enabling what is often described as ‘black gold’ - the fruit of the fungi - to grow. Due to time constraints we have had to stop doing our Truffle Experience tour and replaced it with Truffle Hunting, a much shorter tour, but still a relaxing and informative couple of hours or more and we have now included bubbles !
So this is our latest member to our Truffle Hunting family, she is a Lagotto Romagnola and is nearly 4 weeks old, so not able to join us for a few weeks yet.
Then she will be joining Mela our other Lagotto in finding everyones Truffles!
