First of this years trees have finally arrived, all being planted today! Now they will be lovingly cared for by us whilst we wait for them to produce truffles. 

Today we power harrowed and rolled this field, to give us a nice level ploughed surface, ready for planting trees.

Lots of hard work today, three of us plus large tractor to remove all the large slabs of limestone, to enable final ploughing before planting trees!

Another field being ploughed ready to plant the next batch of Trees impregnated with Perigord truffle spores. As you can see there are big slabs of limestone, that we now have to remove before we can proceed, but that is the price we have to pay to have a near perfect PH for our Truffles.
